Dan and Gunny on the bridge
Gunny really didnt want to pose, but I managed this shot before he laid down :-}
Carson and Hans were checking out the rocks and other curiosities on the path coming from the waterfall.
Another "annual" stop is the Lily pond. Dans favorite place in the whole park.
Across the road we found ripe raspberry's, they were yummy although there wernt to many left. Jesse said that they are bad for the bears so by us (him) eating them he was saving wildlife LOL!!
Carson found his share and enjoyed them too.
Hans made rope slings and they guys had fun practicing while we waited for the rest of our group.
Dan got pretty good at his .
Gunny wanted out, but because we were so close to the road I wouldn't let him....yeah he is sulking.Gunnys brush was MIA and he was shedding bad, so Dan found the next best thing to remove some of that hair.......
Yep...a plastic fork :-D
Gunny was happy.
I got this shot of Karen and Tracy at Old Faithful before we headed out for a nice spot to eat lunch.
Ice cream is a MUST when you his Mammoth....There were no Elk this year, I was surprised.
Its the rut for these guys, so we saw plenty of them :) always love the Bison!
Gunny was board with all the driving, and having to share "his" back seat with both Carson and Hans. Poop picked on Dog.
The next morning was fishing....This is at Yellowstone lake our first stop.
Dan got a lure wet, but that was short lived when Hans's rod broke, so Dan was content to do other things,
He had fun carving little doodles....
I wadded out into the river, I had a couple of hits, but no fish...but fishing in Yellowstone was wonderful!! The Madison, and two other rivers were closed to fishing due to rising temps from low water and it stressed the fish. Maybe next year!
Carson, he just loves to fish catching or not! :)
Hans and Gunny occupied themselves on the beach.
Dan found the camera and caught me through the drift wood snag.
After we were done (Dan and Me) fishing we had a visitor...cute little weasel.
This is how clear an beautiful the river was, even in the deeper parts.
Lunch on day two was on the east shore of Yellowstone lake, and everyone had fun! Hans found a log to play with :-}
Dan, Tracy, Karen Jesse and in the back hiding is Chis (Annis hubby..)
Carson and Jesse skipped rocks
So did Tracy :-}
Carson played in the rocks in general.
Last stop to wet the lines, Carson waded out so he could hit the holes.
Jesse chilled next to the truck.
Carson forgot his waders...but I think he liked this more anyway LOL
He was is little wet...good thing we have a waterproof cover on the back seat, or he'd been walking or roof surfing.
Tracy looking for that perfect spot
Hans spent the afternoon carving, Karen was putting finishing touches on a quilt, and Dan was enjoying the peace and quiet visiting with Jesse.
Karen at the final stop as we were heading home.
Here at our trees... WOW Dan you are strong!
WOW Carson its a rubber tree! LOL
My chair so comfy
Jesse caught us discussing the tree issues.
The mob after three full days of vacation......Left to right.... Jesse Brown, Chris Baum,Hans Brown, Tracy Singson, Karen Singson, Deej Brown, Dan Brown and Carson Hughes....Gunny was in the truck.
Vacations are fun, and Yellowstone is as close to heaven as I know...we will be back next year!!
