Buffalo Wild Wings and Snow

The last snow we had in Kemmerer was the first part of December. Finally it started and didn't wish to stop. Dan got to play with his new snow blower and was happy.
Gunny likes to be outside, but hates the blower getting too close.

The sun came out today, and the City plows cleared the roads.

This is the back yard, Gunny still has steps, but a couple more storms like this one and he'll be hill climbing.

Last week Dans brothers Jesse and Hans sat out side the new Buffalo Wild Wings in Lehi. the first 100 got a years supply of wings. They were in the first 100. They get 6 wings a week for a year. But it was quite the adventure for them.
The girl in the maroon hat...she is the daughter of one of my old High School track friends Tom Morgan. I posted this on my Facebook, he saw it and had to get details of the connection. LOL What a truly small world this is.

Dan and Jesse when we stopped in to see their Urban camp site.
They took their sister Annie's old couch she was getting rid of , set up a TV with video games and a couple of tents along with a generator for power( when they got caught "borrowing" it from the building).
I doubt they slept much from what Jesse said. One big PARTY is what I saw. :D

Hans played games the whole time we were there.

Well, its been quite q week or two.
I will leave you with this thought from our good friend Smokey the Bear.......

Denver Adventures

I had to go to Denver for a training for work. Dan got to come along with me and we made a vacation of it.
First stop Bass Pro Shop...This place made Cabelas in Lehi look like Walmart!
Dan forund a display of cork decoys...look how excited he is!
This isnt the best picture but this was a small mason jar on a glass stem...awesome! we will have to get some LOL!! not the bottom corner of the box... ;-D
The aquariam was great too, check out this surgeon!
I texted this one to Carson
Amanda was the recipeant of this one too.
This was part of a huge mount of Bison...Every where you looked was a mount or something cool....We got lost and didnt want to be found!
Next stop was The Rock Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge
Dan got this great shot of the Bald Eagle.
This is in the visitor center
This was part of the equiptment that was used during the war to make munitions here.
The Refuge has a hurd of Bison on it...we didnt see the live ones, but this mount was huge!

Then on to the Budweiser Brewery in Fort Collins on the way home.
The horses were awesome! This team we were told is the actual team in the Super Bowl 2012 commercial. These guys are so funny, we watched them and had a great time watching them in their paddocks.
Time to go in for grooming and feed.
Dan asked the guy how it was to have such a great job...he replyed Its lots of shoveling! LOL!
This guy was taking in everything!
The dogs name is Brady..he came to say hi. SO AWESOME cant tell I loved it can ya?

This is one of the antique wagons in the stable. I miss the smell of a clean stable.
The stained glass was breath taking...Dan had me get this nice shot..also in the stable.
We took the free tour, by this time two of the horses were in eating.
This is the stable...so nice...  :-)
From here we went to the brewery...Dan and I laughed as we felt like we were entering Willy Wonkas Factory...Dan asked where the Ompa Loompas were. our tour guide didnt hear, or at least respond. LOL!
Inside the brewery.....This is where they cook up the first steps to making the beer.
We spent 10 minutes watching the cans fill and go for pasteurization...fascinating!
This was at the end of the tour. the cooling room lager cellar...we got a piece of beach wood each.

The Fire hydrants were all painted like Dalmatians LOL!

We finally made it home..it was nice to be in our own bed, and off the stupid road. I hate I-80, and the big rigs...so home was very welcome!
I'll leave you with this thought...from a sign at Bass Pro....
Till next time!! :-}

Moving Ahead

Well its gonna be a fun Spring/Winter around here...Dan is taking 13 credits this semester...3 from Western Wyoming Community College, 3 Eastern Wyoming Community College and the rest from 7 Central Wyoming Community college. Although he completed his AS and AA at Western, he has filler classes to move on to the University.
I will be taking the same class as Dan at Western...work is paying for it as it deals with Environmental management and HazMat stuff. I will also be taking an online class from the Y total of 6 credits....

It will prove an interesting time.. :-}

Till next time....please dont forget to feed the fish before you go! ;-D
